Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data when you visit our website.

  1. Controller and contact person

Protecting your personal data matters to us. The controller responsible for this website, and your contact person for all questions about data protection, is:

    Flow Sport GmbH – Schneesportschule Albona-FlowManaging director: Peter ViertbauerWachsreith 94312 Ried/RiedmarkAustriaPhone: +43 650 6916 168Email: office@flow.ski

If you have specific questions about which of your data we process, or if you want to exercise one of your rights, please contact Peter Viertbauer directly.

  2. How we handle your data

Handling your data with care and restraint is important to us. We only collect and use personal data when it is genuinely necessary for our services. Everything you entrust to us is treated confidentially and is never passed on to third parties without authorisation.

Our website is deliberately simple and designed so that as little data as possible is generated during a normal visit. Our handling of personal data is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following sections explain where data is processed at all.

Our website sets one cookie at most: if you switch the language, the cookie “NEXT_LOCALE” remembers your choice (English or German) for one year. If you close the hint pointing to the other language version, we store that in your browser’s storage (“flow.language-hint”) so the hint does not appear again. Neither contains any further information about you, and neither is used for tracking.

  3. Hosting of our website (Vercel)

Our website is provided via Vercel. The provider is Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel delivers the pages through a worldwide network of data centres, so data may also be processed in the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection.

As with every web host, technical access data is generated automatically when you open a page – for example your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser used. This data is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably. We do not use it to identify you personally.

  4. Web analytics with PostHog (without cookies)

To understand how our website is used and where we can improve it, we use the analytics tool PostHog – for example to see which pages are visited. The provider is PostHog B.V. from the Netherlands; the analysis takes place on servers in the European Union.

On our website PostHog sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and creates no user profiles. Only anonymous events are recorded, such as whether someone starts an enquiry by email, phone or WhatsApp or switches the language – never what you enter.

  5. Your rights

Regarding your data, you have the right at any time to:

    • information about which of your data we have stored
    • rectification of inaccurate data
    • erasure of your data
    • restriction of processing
    • data portability
    • object to the processing

An informal message to the contact person named in section 1 is enough to exercise any of these rights.

  6. Complaints to the data protection authority

You can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority at any time:

  7. Links to other websites

Our website occasionally contains links to other websites. We have no influence on their content and cannot accept responsibility for it. If you notice a problematic link, we are grateful for a hint.

  8. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy from time to time when our website or the legal framework changes. The current version published here always applies.
